‘Indian Art, Culture & Heritage Fiesta’ To be showcased at Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival

Celebrating 2014 as the ‘Year of Friendship and Exchange’ with China, India is all set to showcase its art and culture in Hong Kong, at one of the world’s largest festival of its kind, the Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival.  Organised by Fictional Reality Communications, Hong Kong, a ten day fair titled ‘Indian Art, Culture & Heritage Fiesta’ will be organized from 1st - 10th November 2014 with an aim to bring Indian cultural awareness to the people of Hong Kong and China. 

The festival will showcase Indian performing arts and craft, food, fashion and more through dance, music and theatre performances, exhibitions and workshops.  This event is all about presenting India's top Entrepreneurs, Industrialists, VIP Icons from Ministry, Indian Royalty, Indian Cinema, Sports, Art, Music, Dance, IT, Hospitality, Pharmaceuticals etc.

The idea of ‘Indian Art Culture & Heritage Fiesta’ was conceived by Dr. Sanjay Nagarkar who says “Hong Kong is an ideal location to hold an event like this because Hong Kong is seen as a bridge between China and rest of the world.  This event will bring Indian cultural awareness to the local Chinese community for the first time in such a large scale.”

Spearhead by Liza Varma and Neelam Pratap Rudy, face for Indian Art, Culture & Heritage Fiesta, Sachin Khurana Director Entertainment Coordination, Nandini Chaturvedi Director Event & Planning, Actor Abhinav Kant Chaturvedi the festival shall highlight the confluence of Indian and Chinese culture and enhance multiculturalism. The event will be organized at large scale with over 1 million footfalls expected during the Festival.

Liza Varma, Ambassador of the festival says “We are glad that we have associated with the festival which will highlight the confluence of Indian and Hong Kong culture and will enhance multi culturalism of India and Hong Kong. The Fiesta will highlight India’s culture, traditions and heritage. It will include a variety of performances in music, dance, and theatre, as well as exhibitions, cuisine, and Indian Cinema.”

Harbin Ice Festival which is one of the largest festival of its kind in the world, is being organised as Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival, scheduled from 1st October to 4th January, where Fictional Reality Communications is holding Indian, Art, Culture and Heritage Fiesta to be held between 1st to 10th November 2014.

The original Harbin Ice Festival is one of the most popular and dazzling winter event in the world. United Events and Harbin Tourism Bureau are dedicated to further promote this International Ice and Snow Festival in Hong Kong for all ages and bringing the real winter experience in this sub-tropical city.  United Events hopes to create an outdoor festival to bring joy and fun at affordable ticket price.

Hong Kong Harbin Ice Festival  is an outdoor carnival bringing special winter experience covering an area of about 290,000 sq. ft at Tai Tong Shan Road, Yuen Long. The colorful LED lights will all be magically and artistically presented in the state-of the-art Ice Exhibition Hall. Outside the Ice Exhibition Hall is also the centre for a multitude of stunning entertainment activities, such as brilliant and tailor made inflatables, the forever popular skill game booths, Kart City, food booths that will tantalize visitors’ taste buds, stage & street performances from the most popular and talented artists in the region.
