ADTOI 8th annual convention at Vizag in November

Andhra Pradesh Tourism under the leadership of its Chief Minister Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu along with young and dynamic lady Tourism Minister Ms. Bhuma Akhila Priya are determined to retains its leadership position as one of the top tourism destination in the country, which is recently carved out from Telengana region. 

According to Mr. Himanshu Shukla IAS, Director of AP Tourism Department and MD of APTDC, the state is keen to position and promote Andhra Pradesh on a sustainable path in the future development of Travel and tourism sector.  The government is well aware of the fact that tourism will be act as a catalyst role for the overall infrastructure development on the state and through Tourism marketing state can position it as a most preferred business destination  in the country in near future.

AP Tourism has recently invited Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) to host their   8th Annual Convention cum Exhibition at Andhra Pradesh and has decided to conduct the three day event from November 17-19 at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach.

State has also extend their invitation to Indian Association of Tour Operators ( IATO) and Association of Adventure Tour Operators of India ( ADTOI)  to host their next year’s annual convention in this coastal state of India to explore all the possibilities of fast and steady growth of tourism development in the region.   

Mr. P.P. Khanna, President of ADTOI has recently confirmed and announces their 8th annual convention venue and theme of the meet is ‘Explore India \" One Country, Many Worlds’.  The panel discussion will explore the psooibilities of the sustained growth in the domestic tourism sector across India and exhibition will showcase the various aspects of domestic tourism destination and its varied expressions and experiences.  ADTOI has also planning to start its 8th chapter at Andhra Pradesh, prior to the convention. 

Mr. Rajat Sawhney, Vice President, ADTOI and Chairman, ADTOI Convention 2017 said that with this convention at Vizag,  ADTOI will focus more on the growth  and marketing, tourism potential of  South  Indian states. This is the first time the association is moving to Southern part of India to host their annual convention and expecting around 500 delegates from different parts of India to take part in the convention.

Mr. Dalip Gupta, Honorary Joint Secretary, ADTOI and Co-chairman, ADTOI Convention 2017 has added that AP Tourism has breathtaking natural beauty and wildlife wealth to showcase along with its scenic  beaches, panoramic backwaters and spectacular adventure tourism venue like Araku Valley. India is emerging as a leader of tourism in the global scenario and our country has everything to offer to a serious or leisure traveller and aims to encourage the members to promote India first.”
