MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG PARTNERS WITH HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WITH THE MANDARIN CAKE SHOP ‘POP-UP’

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and The Mandarin Cake Shop have partnered with Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) to offer visitors a special ‘pop-up’ store as part of their Gourmet Gallery. Visitors can now enjoy a taste of this iconic hotel without even leaving the airport.

Between 1 November 2013 and 2 January 2014 guests can purchase a series of exclusive gourmet delights from the hotel’s famed The Mandarin Cake Shop when passing through the HKIA. These perfectly packaged treats range from the hotel’s famed Rose Petal Jam and X.O. Sauce to their own signature Taste of the Legend Tea leaves. An assortment of their much loved home-made chocolates will be available and for those looking for a Christmas treat, they will be able to purchase Orange Walnut Stollen to Christmas Pralines and even Christmas Leckerli Cookies.

 “We are delighted to be able to offer a ‘taste’ of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong to visitors of HKIA. These special treats will hopefully provide an ideal reminder of their time in Hong Kong and will be enjoyed as much by friends and loved ones as they are by locals” said Nicolas Dubort, Director of Food & Beverage.

The Mandarin Cake Shop’s Gourmet Gallery is located in Departures of Terminal 1 and will be open between 8am and 8pm daily.
