Mr. K. Biju IAS has taken charge as the Secretary of the Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala. In a major reshuffle of IAS officers in the last week of June, Mr. K. Biju IAS, currently the Secretary of the Public Works department has been given additional charge of the Tourism department .
Mr. K. Biju is a 2006 Kerala cadre Indian Administrative Service Officer and son of Mr. K Krishnankutty, Minister for Kerala Water Resources who is also a well-known farmer hailing from Chittoor in Palakkad. Mr. Biju has served as the District Collector of Malappuram, Director of Industries & Commerce, Land Revenue Commissioner, Special Secretary, LSGD, Managing Director, of IMPACT Kerala Ltd., Secretary of Ports, Sainik Welfare and Revenue ( Devaswom) departments.
