Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa has appointed Ather Raza as Director of Operations. He brings extensive experience across leading hospitality brands and properties in India and the Middle East.
Raza returns to the resort, where he was earlier part of the pre-opening team. His career includes leadership positions at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru, Aloft Cessna Business Park, Sheraton Grand Bangalore at Brigade Gateway, Goa Marriott Resort, Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre and JW Marriott Mumbai.
His expertise spans hotel operations, pre-opening projects, renovations, financial planning, guest satisfaction and team development. He also played a key role in opening the first managed Aloft hotel in Asia Pacific, which gives him valuable experience in launching new properties and establishing operational excellence.
In his new role, Raza will focus on driving operational excellence, enhancing guest experiences, strengthening team performance and supporting the resort’s overall business objectives.
