AxisRooms, a prominent provider of hotel distribution technology, has revealed that Abad Hotels and Resorts in India experienced a notable 14% increase in revenue in 2023 compared to the previous year. This growth was driven by a 10% rise in OTA sales during the same period, facilitated by the real-time distribution capabilities of AxisRooms Channel Manager solution.

Abad Hotels and Resorts boasts 14 stunning properties situated in some of Kerala’s most captivating locales, including Munnar, Wayanad, Thekkady, Kovalam, and Kumarakom. Leveraging the state’s natural beauty and diverse ecosystems, the chain offers guests unforgettable experiences. As a group, Abad Hotels and Resorts aspired to increase room sales through OTAs, recognizing the need for efficient distribution. Manual updates of rates and availability across seven OTAs proved inefficient and error-prone, leading to overbookings and guest dissatisfaction. Additionally, the group struggled to enhance its online visibility and reach a wider audience, hampering revenue growth through OTA sales.
