    Mr Nishanth Nair has been appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing of Hyatt Centric Soalteemode Kathmandu, an upcoming luxury resort in the Himalayan Kingdom.

    Mr. Nishanth, A pre-opening expert with nearly two decades of experience in luxury hospitality and a strong background in business development, is set to bring his strategic expertise and leadership to this dynamic role. Known for his Care for People attitude, he is dedicated to fostering strong relationships and driving success through teamwork and innovation.

    Throughout his career, Nishanth has played a crucial role in several prestigious luxury hotels and resorts, including Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty, Hyatt Regency Thrissur, Hyatt Regency Trivandrum, Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands, Dream Hotel Cochin, SKS Qatar, Carnoustie Resorts and Vibe Resorts. 

    Beyond hotel management, Nishanth has successfully overseen VIP and hospitality services for many major international events, including the Indian Super League (ISL), BCCI International Cricket Matches,  Indian Ocean Naval Symposium, World Customs Organization Meet, G20, W20, multiple International Doctors Conferences etc. His commitment to responsible tourism is reflected in his involvement with Experience Nila, a sustainable initiative by Hyatt Hotels focused on community-driven tourism efforts.

    Commencing his hospitality journey with Kadavu Resorts, the first five-star resort in Malabar, Mr Nair swiftly proved his prowess in sales and marketing within the industry. His extensive skill set encompasses various competencies, from devising business development strategies to implementing comprehensive training programs.

    Mr. Nair’s track record speaks volumes, consistently delivering outstanding results in revenue generation, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. His proficiency extends beyond traditional hospitality roles, demonstrated by his adept management of VIP and Hospitality services for prestigious events such as the Indian Super League and International Cricket Matches.

His involvement in projects like Experience Nila by Hyatt Hotels underscores his dedication to sustainability and community-driven endeavours.

    Outside his professional endeavours, Mr Nair finds solace in cricket, where he serves as an umpire in state-level matches. He cherishes time spent with his accomplished family, including his wife Soumya Menon, a distinguished Maritime Law LLM graduate, and their beloved children, Eashwar Nair and Moksha Nair.
