Tourism and Cultural Ministers conference of the southern region organised by Ministry of Tourism and Culture Govt of India kicks off at Taj West End Bengaluru. The two-day event from 28th to 29th October will have various presentations which highlight M/o Tourism, M/o Shipping, M/o Railways M/o Environment, and M/o Climate Change. During the sessions, there will have discussions on Heritage and Cultural Tourism initiatives, Rail Tourism, Skill development, Potentiality of Cruise Tourism in the Southern Regions.
In the keynote address, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of Tourism, Culture, and DoNER highlighted tourism potential in the Southern Region of India with regard to historical destinations, heritage centers, religious destinations, and more. He also talked about opportunities such as employment generation enhanced by the sector within the current economic framework.
