Vana reopened for guests

As we learn to live in a ‘new normal’, there has never been a better time for people to consider a  spiritual reset and change in holistic physical, mental, and emotional state. Keeping this in mind, Vana, a wellness retreat nestled in the Sal forest, Dehradun reopened on October 5, The retreat offers authentic traditions of wellness, medicine, and wisdom, to heal and feel protected.

“This time has provided us space for reflection and to consider what Vana should be going forward with. We wish to be just a little easier to afford, thus we have revised our offers and enhanced our Ayurveda and Yoga offers.,” said Mr. Veer Singh, Founder, and Creator, Vana “Safety and wellbeing are paramount at Vana,” explained Mr. Prasoon Kumar Pandey, General Manager, Vana. “As the retreat is spread over 21 acres, our vast spaces ensure privacy as well as a safe distance. Vana has also created its own bubble – all employees have been tested for COVID-19 and stay inside the retreat. We have also set an upper limit to the number of reservations, to preserve the safe zone created,” added Mr. Pandey.

As per the protocol of the government of  Uttarakhand, COVID negative certificate is mandatory to enter the state, Vana ensures that every guest has a negative certificate obtained no more than 96 hours before arrival at the retreat.

Vana’s offerings now begin at Rs. 25,000. The retreat is offered for a minimum of three nights. It includes stay, meals, personalised treatments, and therapies, as well as Retreat Programs with yoga, meditation, cuisine lessons, functional fitness, talks, music, and more. Certain physical wellness objectives require a minimum duration of the retreat. These include Weight Management for a minimum of 14 nights, Detox, and Ayurveda Panchakarma for at least 21 nights.

Established in 2014 by Veer Singh, Vana is a place for anyone who seeks wellbeing and what lies beyond conventional understanding. Vana aspires to create a thoughtful balance between what is necessary to prescribe to an individual. Built on an estate of 21 acres, Vana comprises 66 rooms, 16 suites, and additional 4 standalone villas.
