The 11th edition of Wayanad’s monsoon carnival,- Splash 2023 will be held from July 5th to July 15th at various locations across the Wayanad district in Kerala. Kerala’s 2nd biggest tourism trade event is being led by the Wayanad Tourism Organization (WTO) as ever, in association with Kerala Tourism and Wayanad District Tourism Promotion Council.
Splash provides an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their diverse and unique experiences to over 600 buyers from across India, who are being hosted for 3 nights by WTO members at no charge. Indoor events, outdoor events, B2B (Business to Business meeting), and a cultural evening all find a place in this extravaganza..
Splash 2023 will kick off with zonal mud football matches on 5th July at Valliyoorkkavu, Mananthavady, followed by various events such as other mud football zonal/inter-district matches, Marathon run, Kayaking, Tug of war, Mountain biking championship, Destination Ride, Monsoon trekking, and archery at various locations across the district until the 15th. A fun run, aligned with the International Olympic Association’s “Let’s Move” campaign, has been organized for the 15th at Kalpetta, along
With a half marathon and a 10km run. These are being organized in association with DTPC, District Olympic Association, Wayanad Cycling Association, District Sports Council, and other bodies in accordance with international standards. These events are all open to the public.
The Business to Business (B2B) meeting is scheduled for the 10th and 11th of July at Saptha Resort, Sulthan Bathery, and features over 120 sellers from within and outside Kerala Splash offers a unique perspective on tourism during the monsoon, and It has contributed significantly to the growth of tourism in Wayanad.
