ITC Windsor & ITC Gardenia, in association with the Federation of Historic Vehicles of India (FHVI), hosted the iconic “Historic Vehicles Drive 2024” on Sunday, the 21st of January 2024.
The event was flagged off by Senior IPS Officer M A Saleem, Director General of Police,(CID) Economic Offences & Special Units, Karnataka, Bangalore.
This year the event focussed on visually impaired people with the theme of “Wheels to Vision”. ITC Hotels Bengaluru & FHVI came together to support the cause of the Visually Impaired by onboarding “Shraddha Eye Care.” As part of this initiative, 30 kids with visual impairment joined the drive and navigated through a specially curated map. ITC Hotels espouses the values of Diversity, Inclusivity, and Equity by raising awareness about people with special abilities.
Under this initiative, Shraddha Eye Care set up a camp to encourage and register people to volunteer for eye donation & spread awareness about preventable blindness.
All and about 100 vehicles, which comprised 65 cars & 35 bikes, drove through the key landmarks of Bengaluru, including Vidhan Soudha, MG Road, and Cubbon Park painting a picturesque landscape of Bengaluru. This annual event by ITC hotels witnessed the presence of car enthusiasts, the media fraternity, automotive content creators & the netizens of Bengaluru.
