During the elections for the office bearers of FAITH (Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality) for the 2024-2026 term, Puneet Chhatwal, representing the Hotel Association of India, was re-elected as the Chairman
Prominent hotelier Mr Puneet Chhatwal, President of the Hotel Association of India (HAI) and Managing Director of Indian Hotels Company Ltd. (IHCL), has been re-elected as the Chairman of FAITH (Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality) for the 2024-2026 term. The election of new office bearers took place during the annual meeting held at Ginger Hotel, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
Mr Ajeet Bajaj, President of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) and Mr Ajay Prakash, President of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) are the new Vice Chairmen while Mr Rajiv Mehra, President of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) has been elected as the General Secretary and Mr Kanwarjit Singh Sawhney, Hon. Secretary of Indian Tourist Transporters Association (ITTA) as the Treasurer of the umbrella organisation of Indian Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industry.
The results were declared by returning officer Mr. Homa Mistry and the above candidates were elected unopposed .

Speaking post the election, Mr. Rajiv Mehra, General Secretary – FAITH, thanked Mr Homa Mistry, who was the Returning Officer for the elections. Mr Mehra on behalf of all the elected Office Bearers assured to work cohesively for the benefit of the tourism and hospitality industry fulfill the dreams of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and achieve the targets set by the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Tourism and Hospitality have huge potential in terms of employment generation and contributing to the economy of the country and we would endeavour to fulfil this potential”.
FAITH is the Policy Federation of 10 National Associations in India representing the entire Tourism and Hospitality Industry of the country which includes ADTOI, ATOAI, FHRAI, HAI, IATO, ICPB, IHHA, ITTA, TAAI, TAFI) and Cause Partner – AIRDA.
