The concept behind the garden was conceived by Umesh Mathur, Chief Functionary of the Foundation For Learning Technologies, an NGO dedicated to spiritual education and meaningful initiatives. “The idea was to use art installations and illustrations to spark an interest in spirituality,” explains Mathur. He suggests, “Evenings in summers are the perfect time to visit the Garden. The serene atmosphere, combined with the warmth of the season, allows for deep reflection and an uplifting spiritual experience.”

In an era of increasing fast-paced living, the Garden of Spiritual Wisdom provides a much-needed sanctuary for visitors to pause and reconnect with nature, knowledge, and themselves. Its gallery spaces delve into various facets of spiritual thought, including: The Gallery of Indian Philosophy; Buddhist Philosophy; Journey of the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path and an Ayurvedic plant display with traditional knowledge
A notable highlight of the garden is its dedicated Ayurvedic Garden, featuring a diverse collection of herbs sourced from across India. This section celebrates Ayurveda, India’s 5,000-year-old natural healing system, which champions harmony with nature and holistic well-being. Ayurveda’s global recognition as a vital component of mind-body medicine underscores the significance of this unique display.
