Magnicity, a leader in elevated urban tourism experiences, recently hosted prominent Indian travel trade delegates at its flagship 360 CHICAGO attraction. The exclusive event, held in conjunction with IPW 2025 in Chicago, offered a personalized showcase of Magnicity’s curated hospitality and panoramic city views, signaling a new era for skyline-driven tourism characterized by significant infrastructure investments and expanded international market reach.

The evening at 360 CHICAGO provided a luxurious experience for key Indian trade partners, featuring handcrafted cocktails at CloudBar and a chef-designed menu served high above Lake Michigan. This bespoke event underscored the growing collaboration between the Indian and U.S. travel industries, bringing Chicago’s elevated appeal to life for the esteemed guests.

Located on the 94th floor of what was formerly the John Hancock Center, 360 CHICAGO provides breathtaking views of the city skyline and lakefront. It is home to TILT, Chicago’s unique outward-tilting thrill ride, and CloudWalk, the city’s highest open-air deck, which also showcases local art. CloudBar, the attraction’s cocktail lounge, draws inspiration from Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods, blending impressive views with a distinct local flavor. The expansive 17,000-square-foot space also hosts seasonal events and offers prime viewing for major city spectacles, including fireworks displays and the Air & Water Show.
In a significant move in June 2024, Magnicity acquired the 95th and 96th floors of the tower, setting the stage for a bold new chapter for its premier property. Following a multi-million dollar renovation, these new levels are slated to open in 2027, seamlessly connected to the 94th floor by a grand staircase, offering an enhanced visitor experience. Over the past decade, Magnicity has invested nearly $20 million into 360 CHICAGO, contributing to a 60% increase in visitation and solidifying its position as a cornerstone for immersive urban exploration.
“At Magnicity, we believe that cities possess captivating narratives, and the most compelling way to experience them is from above,” stated Alexia Vettier, CEO of Magnicity. “Hosting our Indian partners at 360 CHICAGO was a celebration of connectivity, shared cultural understanding, and mutual aspirations. As we expand our global footprint, our core focus remains on crafting meaningful, localized experiences that resonate across diverse international audiences.”
Jim Vozzella, Senior Sales Manager at 360 CHICAGO, added, “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome our Indian trade guests for an evening that perfectly blended iconic skyline views with authentic hospitality. The enthusiasm, engagement, and valuable feedback we received reaffirm the vital importance of this market and our excitement for future endeavors.”

The event also served to confirm the active progression of the Magnicity group’s development plans, which include ongoing negotiations for new observation platforms in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. Furthermore, the company is exploring the potential launch of its innovative Spiral Tower concept, a sustainable structure composed of spiral modules.
As Magnicity embarks on its next phase of expansion, its vision remains clear: to redefine urban exploration by delivering world-class, narrative-driven experiences across continents, one iconic skyline at a time.
