Madhya Pradesh, known as “The Heart of India,” is set to host the much-anticipated Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025 in Bhopal from October 11-13, 2025. This three-day B2B event, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Federation of India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), will serve as a crucial platform to promote the state’s rich cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, and burgeoning tourism potential to a global audience.
The mart will welcome an esteemed gathering of national and international stakeholders, including travel agents, tour operators, destination marketing companies, and media representatives. The event’s primary goal is to foster new travel partnerships and drive sustainable tourism growth in the state.


Attendees can look forward to a dynamic agenda featuring networking sessions, cultural performances, insightful panel discussions, and focused business meetings. These activities are designed to provide a comprehensive and collaborative environment for all participants.
Mr. Sheo Shekhar Shukla IAS, Principal Secretary of Tourism, Madhya Pradesh, expressed his excitement about the upcoming event. “The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Mart is being held in Bhopal from 11-13 October 2025. This three-day event will bring together an esteemed gathering of national and international stakeholders from the tourism industry, including travel agents, tour operators, destination marketing companies, and media representatives. The mart will feature networking sessions, cultural performances, panel discussions, and business meetings, offering participants an excellent platform to connect and collaborate,” said Mr. Shukla.
He added, “It gives us immense pleasure to formally invite Travel & Tourism Trade partners and a select number of Influencers to this event scheduled to be held in Bhopal from 11th to 13th October 2025. Following the Mart, delegates will also be hosted on an exclusive Familiarization (FAM) Tour across prominent destinations in Madhya Pradesh, allowing them to experience first-hand the rich cultural heritage, wildlife, and tourism potential of the state.”


As a gesture of goodwill, the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will provide select international stakeholders with a return economy-class ticket from their country of origin to Bhopal, along with local transportation, accommodation, and hospitality arrangements during their stay.
The event will shine a spotlight on Madhya Pradesh’s diverse offerings, including its world-renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Khajuraho, Sanchi, and Bhimbetka, its revered religious sites such as the Jyotirlingas of Ujjain and Omkareshwar, and its stunning natural beauty, which includes dense forests and eco-retreats like the Kuno Forest Retreat.
The MPTM 2025 comes at a significant time for the state, which has been recognized as a “Go-To Global Destination for 2025” by The Wall Street Journal. This acknowledgment underscores the state’s rising profile on the global tourism map and its commitment to promoting sustainable tourism practices, a core tenet of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Policy 2025.
