Pilibhit House – IHCL SeleQtions, Haridwar’s most distinguished heritage hotel, has announced the appointment of Mayank Mittal as General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional with over 15 years of experience within the IHCL group, Mittal brings to the role a deep reservoir of operational expertise, strategic acumen, and a leadership style that has consistently earned the respect and loyalty of teams across diverse environments.
In his new role, Mittal will lead overall operations at Pilibhit House, Haridwar – IHCL SeleQtions, while also overseeing operations at Hari Ganga Niwas, Haridwar – IHCL SeleQtions. His mandate encompasses strengthening operational excellence, elevating guest experiences, and reinforcing the signature warmth and hospitality that define the IHCL brand – all while building upon Pilibhit House’s cherished legacy as an oasis of calm in the sacred city of Haridwar.
Mittal is a graduate of the Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal – one of India’s most prestigious hospitality institutions – and began his IHCL career in Sales & Marketing at the group’s Regional Sales Offices in New Delhi and Bengaluru, progressing steadily from Assistant Manager to Sales Manager. He subsequently moved into international luxury hospitality, serving as Director of Sales & Marketing at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives, and later at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa. His transition into hotel operations saw him appointed Hotel Manager at Gateway Varkala, before he assumed the role of General Manager at Taj Kumarakom Resort & Spa, Kerala – a property that demands the highest standards of both luxury delivery and natural environment sensitivity. This arc – from sales leadership to international resort management to operational command – has given Mittal a rare 360-degree view of hospitality that will serve Pilibhit House well.
