The Artiste Kochi, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, has announced the appointment of Jihan Jaleel as its new General Manager.
A hospitality leader with more than two decades of experience across hotel operations, revenue management, guest experience, and organisational transformation, Jihan brings with her a career built at leading brands including Marriott International and IHCL-Taj Hotels. She began her hospitality journey at Kerala’s first Marriott property, Courtyard by Marriott, and went on to hold key leadership roles at Kochi Marriott Hotel and Taj Malabar. Over a decade-long association with Marriott International, she progressed through a series of operational leadership positions, contributing along the way to several pre-opening and renovation projects.
Her career has been marked by consistent recognition for operational excellence and guest-first hospitality, including the BWH South Zone Executive Housekeeper Award and a Top Five finish in the Housekeeper category at the Hotelier Awards. She has also built a track record of strong results across room profitability, food and beverage performance, guest satisfaction, and talent retention.
In her new role, Jihan will focus on driving operational excellence, elevating guest experiences, nurturing talent, and strengthening the hotel’s overall business performance – building further on The Artiste Kochi’s standing as a distinctive hospitality destination.
Outside work, she enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and destinations, reading, and cinema.
