New role covers strategy, operations, expansion and guest experience for both brands
Accor has appointed Mr. Deeppreet Bindra as Director, ibis and ibis Styles India. He will lead both brands’ strategic and operational performance in the country, with responsibility for portfolio growth, commercial performance, guest experience and team development.
Bindra will work closely with hotel teams and partners to strengthen performance and support the brands’ continued expansion across established and emerging markets in India.
Two decades across hospitality and services
Bindra brings more than 20 years of experience across the hospitality and service sectors. His expertise spans hotel operations, commercial performance, sales, guest experience and people leadership. He has held leadership roles at American Express, Kingfisher Airlines, The Oberoi Group and Marriott International. Most recently, he was with Marriott International, where he led hotel operations of The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace and commercial performance and built strong, engaged teams.
Industry recognition
Bindra’s work has been recognised with several awards. These include General Manager of the Year, Upper Upscale, at BW Hotelier 2026, and General Manager of the Year at the FHRAI Annual Convention 2025. He has also been named General Manager of the Year by Hotelier India in 2022, and received the General Manager of the Year, Consumer Operations, honour at the Marriott APEC Conference 2021.
