Mumbai, India – June 19, 2025 – Following yesterday’s announcement regarding a temporary reduction in its international services, Air India today released a detailed list of affected flights. These adjustments, impacting routes operated by Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft, will come into effect from June 21, 2025, and are planned to continue until at least July 15, 2025.
The airline stated that these proactive measures are being taken to ensure stability in its operations and minimize last-minute inconveniences for passengers. The reductions are a result of two key factors: a voluntary undertaking of enhanced pre-flight safety checks across its fleet, and the necessity to accommodate additional flight durations caused by ongoing airspace closures in the Middle East.
