Sandeep Dwivedi has been appointed as Managing Director – Travel Sellers for India and the subcontinent at Amadeus. In this role, he will oversee Amadeus’ regional commercial activities for travel sellers. Sandeep takes on the duties from Ramona Bohwongprasert, SVP, Southeast Asia, Inside Sales & Startups, Travel Sellers, Asia Pacific, Amadeus, who will continue to manage Southeast Asia while also expanding her role to cover Inside Sales & Startups across the entire Asia Pacific region.
With a wealth of experience in the travel industry, Sandeep brings his extensive knowledge to Amadeus, having previously held senior leadership roles. His most recent position was with InterGlobe Technology Quotient, where he played a crucial role in driving growth across the Asia Pacific region.
Javier Laforgue, Executive Vice President, Travel Unit & Managing Director, Asia Pacific, expressed enthusiasm about the growth of the travel industry in India and Amadeus’ prominent position in this advancement. He welcomed Sandeep as a trusted leader who comprehends Amadeus’ vision for India and the subcontinent. Laforgue emphasized Amadeus’ longstanding presence in the region, spanning over two decades, and highlighted that this appointment reinforces their commitment to addressing the technological needs of the travel industry in the area.
