The much-anticipated Arabian Travel Market (ATM), s set to gather over 41,000 attendees at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 6 to May 9, 2024. Strategic partners including the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Emirates, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Al Rais Travel, have provided insights into the event, focusing on this year’s theme, ‘Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship.’
With over 2,300 exhibitors from 165 countries, ATM 2024 promises to be a hub of entrepreneurial activity, showcasing innovations driving customer experiences and sustainability. Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME at Arabian Travel Market, highlighted the conference agenda’s diverse lineup, featuring industry leaders discussing emerging trends shaping the travel sector’s growth.
A notable addition to ATM 2024 is the Entrepreneurship-focused summit, exploring the role of travel start-ups in the Middle East economy. The event will also feature the ATM Start-Up Pitch Battle, celebrating regional innovators and industry solutions.

The event will feature two stages: the Global Stage and the new Future Stage, hosting industry speakers and addressing emerging trends driving tourism growth. A new Entrepreneurship-focused summit will spotlight travel start-ups in the Middle East economy, alongside the ATM Start-Up Pitch Battle. The event sees a 21% increase in participating hotel brands and introduces new destinations like China and Macao, reflecting significant growth across all regions.
This year sees a 21% increase in participating hotel brands and a 58% rise in new Travel Technology products showcased. Excitingly, ATM 2024 welcomes new destinations like China, Macao, Kenya, Guatemala, and Columbia, alongside returning countries such as Spain and France.
On the opening day, a dedicated India Summit will address India’s growing outbound travel market, exploring opportunities for tourism growth and collaboration.
His Excellency Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), expressed Dubai’s pride in hosting ATM, aligning with efforts to position Dubai as a global tourism hub. The theme of ATM 2024 complements Dubai’s focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, driving tourism growth beyond traditional models.
Mr. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, expressed excitement about the increasing visitor numbers at ATM, noting it as a testament to the confidence in the industry and the event’s global significance. He emphasized Emirates’ pride in contributing to the growth of ATM and Dubai’s position as a leading tourism destination. Kazim highlighted Emirates’ commitment to sustainability, with plans to showcase their latest products and sustainable aviation practices at the event. He also looked forward to engaging with industry partners across the travel ecosystem.
Environmental responsibility remains a central theme, building on last year’s momentum towards sustainability and striving for a greener travel sector aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
