International Ayurveda Ambassadors tour and B to B meeting started on October 24, 2019, from Kannur
Forty-five international clients from 30 countries arrived at Kannur International Airport on October 24 as part of a unique initiative to promote Ayurveda in global markets which are being organised by the Ayurveda Promotion Society with the support of Kerala Tourism Department and India Tourism.
B2B meeting for direct interaction with visiting Ayurveda Ambassadors and Ayurveda service providers from Kannur and Kasaragod districts started on October 24 at Lalit Resort and Spa at Bekal.
Mr. Sajeev Kurup, President of Kerala Ayurveda Promotion Society welcomed the gathering and Mr. Thulasidas, MD of Kannur International Airport, Mr. Sanjay Srivats, Regional Director, India Tourism, Mr. T. K. Manzoor, MD of Bekal Resorts Development Corporation Ltd.and Mrs. Sandhya Haridas, Manager – Kerala, India Tourism Kochi are addressed the gathering.
The 45 leading tour operators, media persons, and bloggers will start their journey to explore the great potential of Ayurveda on October 25 and their next stop will be at the Raviz Kadavu Resort in Kozhikode. They will interact with Kerala Tourism trade associates from Kozhikode, Kannur and Wayanad districts on October 27.
After visiting Kottakkal Arya Vaidyasala on October 28, the team will continue their journey to Cheruthuruthy to experience the vibrant culture of Kerala at Kalamandalam.
The organisers have arranged another B2B meeting at Hotel River Retreat for participants from Thrissur and Palakkad districts on October 29.
The fourth B2B interaction has been planned at Grand Hyatt Bolgatty for participants from Ernakulam and Idukki districts on October 30 and the fifth is at Lake Song Resort, Kumarakom for trade participants from Kottayam, Alleppy and Pathanamthitta districts on October 31.
The Ayurveda Ambassadors journey will end at Leela Kovalam after interaction with Ayurveda service providers from Quilon and Trivandrum districts on November 2. Mr. Aji Alex and Mr. Ravi Varma, Executive council members of Ayurveda Promotion Society will escort the team as Team Leader and Manager respectively.
