Club Mahindra Expands Portfolio with New Resorts in Amba Ghat and Bandhavgarh, Adding 159 Keys

Launches support FY26 target of 1,000 new rooms and the company’s ambitious goal of 12,000 keys by FY3

Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited (MHRIL), India’s leading leisure hospitality company, has announced the launch of two new resorts – Club Mahindra Amba Ghat in Maharashtra and Club Mahindra Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh – adding a combined 159 keys to its growing portfolio and strengthening its presence across Western and Central India.

The twin launches are consistent with Club Mahindra’s broader and long-standing strategy of pioneering emerging leisure destinations – bringing lesser-known, nature-rich locations onto the mainstream travel map for India’s holidaying families. Backed by sustained and growing demand for experiential leisure travel, the company has adopted a capital-efficient, asset-light approach to portfolio expansion, deploying a mix of greenfield developments, management contracts, and flexible operating models. Both new resorts form part of MHRIL’s ambitious roadmap to scale its portfolio to 12,000 keys by FY30, with a near-term target of adding 1,000 new rooms in FY26.

Manoj Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, spoke about the significance of the launches: “Destinations such as Amba Ghat and Bandhavgarh reflect the growing preference for immersive, nature-led experiences among today’s travellers. At Club Mahindra, we have always believed in identifying and thoughtfully developing emerging leisure destinations for India’s evolving base of holidaying families. As we build for the future, our focus remains on expanding high-quality inventory across diverse locations, while consistently delivering memorable family holiday experiences. This approach continues to guide us in our journey towards becoming India’s most trusted leisure hospitality brand.”

Amba Ghat – Tranquillity in the Sahyadris

Amba Ghat is a scenic mountain pass along the Kolhapur-Ratnagiri route, nestled within Maharashtra’s Sahyadri ranges. Long a well-kept secret among those who know the Western Ghats intimately, the destination is steadily emerging as a serene hill getaway for travellers seeking nature-led escapes away from crowded tourist circuits. Club Mahindra’s Amba Ghat resort will comprise 96 keys, featuring river-facing apartments set along the banks of the Kadvi River, which flows through the property. The setting promises guests a genuinely tranquil retreat – one where the rhythms of the Sahyadri landscape, rather than the amenities of the resort, set the pace of the holiday.

Bandhavgarh – Into the Heart of Tiger Country

Bandhavgarh, located in the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh, is globally renowned as home to Bandhavgarh National Park – one of the world’s premier wildlife tourism destinations and the reserve with the highest density of Bengal tigers anywhere on earth. Club Mahindra’s Bandhavgarh resort will offer 63 keys, thoughtfully designed to deliver an immersive wilderness experience with expansive verandas, outdoor decks, and uninterrupted forest views. Every element of the property has been conceived to bring guests into closer communion with the extraordinary natural environment that surrounds it.

Together, the two resorts exemplify what Club Mahindra does best – identifying destinations of genuine natural character and creating hospitality experiences worthy of their settings. The company recently also launched Club Mahindra Nadiya Parao in Uttarakhand and signed a new property in Dapoli, Maharashtra, further signalling the pace and purposefulness of its national expansion.
