Emirates has revealed a specially designed livery for its Airbus A380, celebrating the launch of their new door-to-door delivery service, Emirates Courier Express. This distinctive look for the renowned passenger jet underscores Emirates’ dedication to transforming express delivery by leveraging their extensive 40-year history of transporting passengers and cargo globally.

The unique Emirates Courier Express livery was conceptualized and applied by the Emirates Engineering team. This involved a complete repaint of the A380, a comprehensive undertaking that included the design, creation, application, and painting of the custom design to bring the vision for the aircraft to fruition.
The livery draws inspiration from traditional brown paper packaging. The aircraft’s front section and main body are depicted as being wrapped in kraft paper, with a torn effect revealing the UAE flag on the vertical stabilizer and the Emirates Courier Express emblem prominently displayed on both sides. This logo is also featured on all four engine cowlings, while the underside of the aircraft showcases the familiar red Emirates branding. Adding to the theme, a large ‘special delivery’ stamp, along with recognizable shipping and handling marks, embellish the aircraft’s exterior.

This eye-catching, full-body livery directly communicates the key innovation of the new door-to-door express delivery service: the smooth combination of Emirates’ fleet of over 250 wide-body aircraft and extensive global network with Emirates SkyCargo’s advanced infrastructure and profound logistical expertise. Notably, this design marks the first time an Emirates passenger aircraft has featured a cargo-inspired livery.
The Emirates Courier Express A380 commenced its operations this week with a flight to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, carrying both passengers and parcels directly to their intended recipients.
