An audio launch which is first of its kind in the history of Mollywood held at kovalam by diving underwater. The cast and crew of the upcoming movie ‘Kalyanam’ dived into the depths of the sea for spreading awareness about the need for conserving the ocean. The event was inaugurated by actor Unni Mukundan at Udaya Samudra hotel Kovalam.
Actor-politician Mukesh said that the need of the hour is to conserve the ocean. ‘No development done on land will be complete unless efforts were on to conserve the life providing oceans’. Rajagopal Aiyer, the CEO of Udaya Samudra called on everyone present to be part of the ‘Sagar bacchao’ program aimed at cleansing the ocean from Kanyakumari to Kasaragod. Jackson Peter, Managing director of Bond Safari, Kovalam said that ocean pollution, ocean acidification and climate change are three major challenges that humanity face and it is high time to keep the delicate balance of nature intact.
The celebrities were trained and guided by the staff of Bond Safari at Kovalam. The first underwater wedding in the country, World’s first under water CEO’s meet were just some of the events that Bond Safari has pioneered and this music launch is another feather to their cap. They also conduct regular scuba diving safaris and workshops for people interested in underwater photography and PADI certification courses. These unique and novel ventures have boosted Kovalam’s status as one of the leading tourist destinations of the state.
