VFS Global has appointed Mr. GB Srithar as the Head of Tourism Services, effective from 1st February 2024.
Bringing a wealth of experience garnered over 27 distinguished years at the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Srithar joins VFS Global after a prolific career spanning various domains including Human Resources, Organizational Development, and International Marketing. Notably, he served as the Area Director for South India & Sri Lanka, spearheading pivotal initiatives within the International Marketing and Brand Campaigns teams at STB’s headquarters. His tenure culminated in the role of Regional Director, where he oversaw STB’s strategic marketing endeavors, tourism development, and trade partnerships across India, the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa.
In his new capacity, Srithar will bolster VFS Global’s endeavors by delivering specialized services in Travel, Trade, and Tourism to client governments. His expertise will be instrumental in empowering these governments to realize their strategic objectives of fostering tourism and trade within their respective nations.

Srithar, a Singapore national, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Sociology and English Language, along with a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) from the National University of Singapore, underscoring his commitment to academic excellence and professional achievement.
