Hilton Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Concludes “Green Month” with Leadership Tree-Planting Drive

Hilton Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park has wrapped up its impactful month-long third-anniversary festivities with a hands-on tree-planting initiative on June 18, 2025. The hotel’s senior leadership team led the effort, symbolizing a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.

In collaboration with SayTrees Environmental Trust, 17 Heads of Department (HODs) from the hotel participated in planting saplings at the Rail Wheel Factory in North Bengaluru. This event marked the grand finale of the hotel’s special anniversary campaign, “Book a Room, Plant a Tree,” which launched in May 2025. Through this initiative, a tree was planted in a guest’s name for every room booked during the month, transforming each stay into a growing, lasting legacy.

A Commitment to a Greener Future

“This final planting is a celebration of purpose,” stated Mr. Manish Garg, General Manager, Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park. “We started the month by planting trees alongside our guests. Today, our leadership team has come together to reinforce our commitment—that hospitality can and should leave the world better than we found it.”

Approximately 2,000 trees have been planted as part of this program. Each tree is geotagged, cared for by local farmers, and its growth can be tracked by guests via a digital dashboard. This meticulous approach ensures a survival rate exceeding 90%, supports the livelihoods of local farmers, and creates a tangible, long-term environmental benefit well beyond the guest’s check-out date.

Embedding Sustainability in Operations

The tree-planting campaign is an integral part of the hotel’s broader dedication to sustainability, which is deeply woven into its daily operations. More than 98% of the hotel’s energy comes from renewable sources. It boasts a solar-powered hot water system that heats 15,000 liters daily, significantly reducing its energy consumption. An in-house glass bottling plant eliminates the need for 2,500 plastic bottles daily, supporting global efforts against plastic pollution. Guest rooms are entirely free of single-use plastics, instead featuring eco-conscious amenities such as reusable mugs and refillable toiletry dispensers – small details that collectively make a significant positive impact.

Opened in 2022, Hilton Bengaluru Embassy Manyata has quickly established itself as a benchmark for premium business travel in North Bengaluru. The property offers 60,000 sq. ft. of versatile event space and delivers world-class hospitality alongside responsible luxury under one roof. As one of South India’s largest dual-brand properties, the hotel continues to lead the way in sustainable hospitality practices.

While this particular initiative has concluded, its positive impact is set to expand continuously—leaf by leaf, and guest by guest.
