Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), the ownership group of Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum has appointed Bharathi Perumal as General Manager of the hotel. In this position, he will be responsible for all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services and satisfaction and hotel administration, in addition to overseeing marketing efforts. Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum has been open since December 2013.
With more than 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Bharathi is a seasoned leader in global luxury hotel operations. Known for his collaborative leadership and operational focus, he has worked with leading brands including IHG, Marriott International, Radisson, EHG Bahrain, Silversea USA, and One&Only. His deep understanding of diverse markets and guest expectations has consistently translated into strong results in service delivery, team engagement, and business performance.
In his most recent role as Hotel Manager at Le Royal Méridien Chennai, Bharathi delivered strong revenue growth, enhanced brand positioning, and improved guest satisfaction scores. Prior to this, as Director of Operations at InterContinental Chennai Mahabalipuram, he delivered notable improvements across key performance metrics. Bharathi has also served as F&B Champion for IHG Southwest Asia, mentoring teams across India and Bangladesh, launching over 18 distinctive restaurant concepts that elevated brand identity and guest experience.
