In the last year, HRTvm hosted a remarkable number of around 500 events, where a significant majority of 65% is attributed to events from Kerala. Furthermore, 8% of the MICE events originated from international sources, while the remaining 27% hailed from various regions across the rest of India, and the contribution of MICE to the total revenue was 25%. The hotel has not only taken part in several CSR activities, giving back to the community, but they have also created over 250 jobs, both directly and indirectly while making Trivandrum a tourist destination. This in turn has positively impacted other businesses in the city, contributing to the local economy.
Notably, Hyatt Regency Trivandrum has also implemented several sustainability solutions such as the establishment of a 306 kW solar power plant, an efficient rainwater harvesting system with a capacity of 300 KL, and a dedicated food waste composting programme. Additionally, the hotel features an in-house bottling plant, a charging station, and various other initiatives, all contributing to the comprehensive sustainability efforts undertaken by the establishment.
