Expanding its footprint in the leisure segment, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced a strategic alliance with Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels. Recently acquired by the Ambuja Neotia Group, Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels will now benefit from IHCL’s extensive marketing and distribution network, amplifying its presence across 14 distinctive resorts nationwide.
Mr Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, highlighted the significance of this collaboration, stating, “With the growing trend of experiential travel, Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels offers our discerning guests unique travel experiences in offbeat destinations, including tier II and III cities. This partnership aligns with our vision to diversify our brandscape to cater to evolving travel preferences.”
Established in 2009, by renowned tourism and hospitality professional Mr. Himmat Anand, Tree of Life operates boutique hotels in 14 diverse destinations such as Mussoorie, Dared, Naggar, Udaipurwati, Kumaon, and Binsar, among others. Nestled away from city centers, these resorts offer guests a luxurious and exclusive retreat, allowing them to immerse themselves in nature and local culture.
Mr. Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of the Ambuja Neotia Group, expressed enthusiasm about expanding the partnership with IHCL and leveraging its extensive marketing and distribution network to attract domestic and international travelers to these destinations. He emphasized, “Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels caters to the niche trend of experiential stays, which is rapidly gaining popularity in the travel landscape.”
Looking ahead, Neotia outlined ambitious plans to achieve 100 properties under the Tree of Life brand by 2030, capitalizing on India’s evolving tourism landscape.
Starting from March 1, 2024, Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels will be available for room bookings through IHCL’s distribution network.
With this collaboration, IHCL surpasses its market guidance, achieving a portfolio of over 300 hotels, with 90 hotels currently under development.
