Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), has announced the signing of its first hotel in Rajkot, Gujarat. This is a conversion and will be rebranded as an IHCL – SeleQtions hotel after extensive renovations.
Speaking on occasion, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, at IHCL said, “In line with IHCL’s vision to establish a strong foothold in Gujarat, the SeleQtions hotel at Rajkot is yet another addition to the company’s portfolio in the state. Rajkot with its rich history and economic potential holds immense travel prospects. We are delighted to partner with City Organizers Pvt. Ltd. for this hotel.”
The 120-key hotel is situated in the city center on Yagnik Road and is a convenient and central location from all parts of this growing city. It will house an all-day diner, specialty restaurants, and a lobby lounge with a deli. The hotel will offer 750 sq. mt of banqueting space along with small meeting rooms. Other recreation facilities will include a swimming pool, fitness center, and salon.

Rajkot is a historic city that has evolved into a leading commercial hub in Gujarat. It is home to many industries, educational institutions, and medical centers.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 20 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands across Gujarat including four under development.
