Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), launched Gorbandh Palace, an IHCL SeleQtions hotel in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan marking their 200th Hotel. Nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert, the hotel is a mélange of modern comfort that blends seamlessly with old-world Rajasthani legacy.
The 83-key sprawling Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer – IHCL SeleQtions is a regal oasis set amidst lush gardens in the heart of Jaisalmer. Named after the traditional ornamental camel necklace, symbolic of Rajasthani tribes, the hotel’s design pays homage to Jaisalmer’s storied past. Guests can indulge in multi-cuisine fare at the all-day diner Bazaar, relish Italian cuisine at Seray, and handcrafted cocktails at the bar Musafir Khana. With over 80,000 sq. ft of outdoor lawns and an ornate banquet hall of over 3,000 sq. ft, the hotel is an ideal destination for glamorous soirées and corporate retreats. The Spa offers holistic rejuvenation rooted in India’s ancient healing wisdom.

With this addition, IHCL has 23 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger in Rajasthan, including 7 under development.
