The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new hotel in Talegaon, Pune. This Greenfield project is set to carry the prestigious Vivanta brand.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development at IHCL, expressed enthusiasm about the signing, stating, “This will reinforce IHCL’s footprint in Pune, a vital commercial city in Maharashtra. Talegaon, being a prominent automobile and manufacturing hub, is positioned for further growth, especially with the ongoing infrastructure development in the region. This marks IHCL’s fifth hotel in Pune, and we are delighted to collaborate with RMK Infrastructure Pvt Ltd. for this venture.”
Spanning 2.5 acres, the 140-key hotel strategically stands along Talegaon MIDC road, offering convenient proximity to major multinational companies. The hotel’s amenities will include the all-day diner Mynt, a specialty restaurant, and Wink, a bar featuring over 4,000 sq. ft. of banquet space. Additionally, recreational facilities will encompass a swimming pool, gym, and spa.
Mr. Ramdas Kakade, Founder of RMK Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., expressed satisfaction with the collaboration, stating, “We are pleased to partner with IHCL, leaders in India’s hospitality industry. This hotel will provide guests with the distinctive experience of the Vivanta brand in Talegaon.”
Pune, a dynamic metropolis in Maharashtra, known for blending modernity with tradition, serves as a major center for manufacturing, IT, and education, and is recognized as the cultural capital of the state.
With the addition of this hotel, IHCL’s portfolio in Maharashtra will encompass 33 hotels across the SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands, including 11 establishments currently under development.
