IHG Hotels & Resorts, a prominent global player in the hotel industry, has entered into a management agreement with Abu Estate Private Limited to introduce Holiday Inn Chennai Egmore. This conversion hotel, adding 92 keys to Chennai’s City-Centre, is slated to open in the first quarter of 2025, solidifying IHG’s dedication to broadening its footprint in key destinations across India.
Strategically located in the industrial heart of Chennai, Egmore offers convenient access to government offices, upscale residential complexes, the railway station, and iconic structures. Upon its debut, Holiday Inn Chennai Egmore aims to serve the varied needs of both business and leisure travelers seeking a top-tier hospitality experience in the capital city. Chennai, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and recognized as the gateway to South India, is a sought-after destination for global tourists and a thriving hub for industries such as automotive, technology, and healthcare.
Mirroring the essence of the Holiday Inn brand, Holiday Inn Chennai Egmore will showcase contemporary and well-appointed guest rooms, a fitness club, an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, and an inviting lobby lounge, catering to a diverse range of guest preferences. The hotel will also provide versatile banquet spaces, including a grand ballroom and breakout rooms, suitable for both large-scale events and intimate social gatherings.
