JW MARRIOTT MUMBAI SAHAR APPOINTED MR. MOIZE ROCQUE AS DIRECTOR SALES AND MARKETING

A dedicated professional, passionate learner, and visionary leader, Moize brings over 18 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, earning numerous accolades throughout his distinguished career. Before joining JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, he served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. His expertise was instrumental in the successful launch of The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, where he played a pivotal role in positioning the property as a premier luxury destination.

Mr. Moize began his career as a Management Trainee in Sales with Novotel Hyderabad & HICC and subsequently held key positions at Ibis and Novotel Bangalore as a Sales Manager. His career trajectory saw him rise to the role of Accounts Director, leading the opening of Aloft Cessna Business Park. With a wealth of experience across renowned hospitality brands such as Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts, Accor, and Marriott International, Moize has been a driving force behind strategic business growth and excellence.

In his new role, Moize will oversee and lead all aspects of Sales and Marketing, leveraging his expertise in unit sales, pre-opening strategies, global sales, and the MICE segment. He will be responsible for optimizing hotel revenue performance and spearheading business development initiatives. His leadership will be key in guiding a dynamic team while shaping the hotel’s strategic marketing direction.

In his leisure time, Moize enjoys immersing himself in a good book, exploring new destinations and appreciating good music.
