Marriott International has appointed Neeraj Govil as the Chief Operations Officer for Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC). In this pivotal role, Govil will be based in Singapore and will oversee the region’s performance and operations across all brands and markets. Reporting directly to him will be the APEC Area Vice Presidents, Managing Director of Luxury, and the Continent Lodging Services (CLS) Team.
Rajeev Menon, President of APEC at Marriott International, expressed his confidence in Govil’s abilities, citing his outstanding track record in delivering results and fostering talent development. Govil’s previous role as Senior Vice President of Operations/CLS, APEC, saw him make significant contributions in areas such as talent development, customer satisfaction, and F&B excellence.
Govil himself expressed enthusiasm for his new role, emphasizing APEC’s potential to lead Marriott International’s growth trajectory. With over two decades of operational experience within the company, Govil is well-equipped to drive commercial performance while upholding the brand’s operational excellence standards in the region.
