Marriott India Business Council Celebrates 10 Years of ‘Road to Give’

A Decade of Empowering Communities Through Movement

Marriott India Business Council recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its transformative initiative, “Road to Give.” This annual event unites Marriott associates from India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka in a collective effort to run, walk, ride, and move for charitable causes.

Over the past decade, “Road to Give” has become a cornerstone of Marriott’s commitment to social responsibility. By mobilizing thousands of associates, the initiative has raised substantial funds for critical community needs, including healthcare, education, and social welfare.

This year, Marriott India aims to raise 1.20 crore (approximately) to support Rising Star Outreach of India, an NGO based in Chennai, dedicated to empowering individuals affected by leprosy.

“Ten years of ‘Road to Give’ is a testament to our associates’ unwavering commitment to service and community engagement,” said Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Chairman of the Marriott India Business Council. “This initiative has fostered teamwork, strengthened our ties with the community, and made a significant impact on countless lives.”

To commemorate this milestone, Marriott India invited associates, partners, and the broader community to participate in various events and contribute to the cause. The goal was to inspire and motivate people to join the movement and make a difference.

By participating in “Road to Give,” Marriott associates not only promote health and fitness but also cultivate a sense of community and responsibility. This initiative exemplifies the company’s dedication to creating a positive impact on society.
