Mr.Bhupendra Patel took oath on December 12 as the 18th Chief Minister of Gujarat. The oath was administered by Governor Acharya Devvrat at the helipad ground inside the new secretariat complex in Gandhinagar. Bhupendra Patel took the oath for the second straight term as the Chief Minister. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers of BJP-led states
Mr. Ayar Mulubhai Hardasbhai Bera is the new Tourism Minister of Gujarat. He is one of the prominent figures in the new Cabinet under Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Apart from Tourism, Mr. Mulubhai Bera will handle important portfolios of Cultural Activities, Forest and Environment, and Climate Change.
Mr. Mulubhai Bera was elected from Khambhalia (Devbhumi Dwarka) constituency In the 12th Gujarat legislative assembly. He was first elected from khambhaliya constituency and became the minister of the Gujarat government at the age of 26. Earlier he has been winning Bhanwad’s seat. Mulubhai Bera first became an MLA in 1995, then served as Deputy Minister of Social Security and Social Welfare from 1995 to 1998. After this, Bera was the minister of State for Revenue, Irrigation, Primary Education, and Non-Conventional Energy from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2002, he became the Minister of Mines and Minerals. During this time he got independent charge. After this, Bera was the Minister of Labor and Employment of the state of Gujarat from 2004 to 2007. He has been made a cabinet minister in Bhupendra Patel’s new team.
