Nagaland is located in north-eastern part of India. It shares border with state of Assam to the west, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam to the north, Myanmar to the east, and Manipur to the south.
It is the one of the smallest state in India; it has an area of 16,579 square kilometres with a population of 1,980,602 per the 2011 Census of India. Nagaland was established in 1963. Administrative and Legislative Capital of the state is Kohima. And Judicial Capital is Guwahati.
