One97 Communications Limited (OCL), the parent company of Paytm, has joined forces with the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) to facilitate seamless online bus ticket bookings through the Paytm app. This strategic partnership allows users to enjoy a flat 15% discount, up to ₹150, on bus tickets, enhancing the digital travel experience for passengers.
Through the Paytm app, users gain access to a user-friendly platform for booking UPSRTC bus tickets digitally, covering a vast network of over 3,000 routes, including both AC and non-AC buses. The discounted offer extends to major routes such as Lucknow – Delhi, Lucknow – Gorakhpur, Lucknow – Agra, Delhi – Haridwar, Bareilly – Delhi, and Lucknow – Varanasi, providing commuters with cost-effective travel options.
UPSRTC, a public sector road transport corporation, serves the state of Uttar Pradesh and neighboring regions. With a fleet of over 11,000 buses operating across 3.4 million kilometers, UPSRTC caters to the travel needs of over a million people. This collaboration expands Paytm’s reach in facilitating bus ticket bookings for state-run transport services, not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in other states such as Tripura, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Kerala, Bihar, and Goa.
