President Droupadi Murmu Takes Holy Dip at Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj

The sacred city of Prayagraj witnessed a historic and spiritually uplifting moment as Hon’ble President of India, Mrs. Droupadi Murmu, participated in the Mahakumbh 2025, taking a holy dip at the divine Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati converge. This grand religious congregation, known as the largest spiritual gathering on Earth, is a testament to India’s timeless traditions, unity, and faith.

After the ritualistic bath, President Murmu offered prayers to Tripathagamini Maa Ganga, seeking the well-being, peace, and prosperity of the nation. She then visited the Akshayavat, the sacred immortal banyan tree, as well as the revered Saraswati Koop and the Lying Hanuman Temple, deepening her spiritual connection with these iconic religious landmarks.

A key highlight of her visit was an immersive experience at the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center, where she explored the rich history and spiritual essence of Mahakumbh through cutting-edge digital technology. The center provides pilgrims and visitors with an insightful journey into the grandeur of this millennia-old tradition.

On this momentous occasion, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored the President by presenting her with a Kumbh Kalash, symbolizing the sacredness and spiritual magnitude of the event. Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Ms. Anandiben Patel, was also present, adding to the significance of the gathering.

Mahakumbh 2025 continues to stand as a magnificent confluence of faith, devotion, and spiritual enlightenment, drawing millions of devotees from across the world.
