JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, a prominent luxury hotel situated near the international airport, has announced the appointment of Mr. Sachin Mylavarapu as its new General Manager. His appointment signals an exciting new phase for this prestigious Mumbai establishment, often referred to as the “Gateway to Mumbai.”
Sachin’s leadership is set to enhance the hotel’s long-standing reputation for exceptional hospitality and sophisticated luxury, blending contemporary design with attentive service.
With over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector, Sachin Mylavarapu brings extensive operational knowledge and a global outlook to his new position. His career spans India, the USA, and Europe. Most recently, he served as Senior Director – Operations, South Asia for Marriott International, where he was instrumental in ensuring operational excellence across Marriott’s diverse properties in the region.
Having been with Marriott International for more than 16 years, Sachin has developed into a comprehensive leader. He has successfully managed various teams across multiple brands, overseeing operations, food and beverage, and guest experience, demonstrating a strong grasp of both human capital and performance metrics.
In his new capacity, Sachin will be responsible for all facets of hotel operations at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. His key objectives include ensuring smooth and exceptional guest experiences, fostering talent development among the staff, and strengthening the hotel’s standing as a top choice for both business and leisure travelers.
