SalamAir will launch three direct flights per week from Muscat to Cairo from June 15 offering passengers convenient access to Egypt’s bustling capital. Travellers can fly directly to Sphinx International Airport.
Introducing these direct flights caters to both leisure travellers and the Egyptian community residing in Oman. SalamAir aims to facilitate travel for expatriates, students, and professionals, enhancing people-to-people ties and promoting cultural and trade exchanges between the two countries.
“We are excited to introduce direct flights between Muscat and Cairo,” said Captain Ahmed Shidhani, CEO of SalamAir. “Cairo is a destination with immense appeal, not only for its rich history and landmarks but also for its ongoing infrastructural developments. We are proud to connect passengers from Oman and the rest of the GCC to this vibrant city, providing them with more choice, convenience, and value.”
Sphinx International Airport, situated on the outskirts of Cairo, offers easy access to major attractions such as the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. SalamAir’s direct flights provide a convenient and hassle-free way to explore Cairo, whether for business or leisure.
