SATA 2025 Evaluations Underway Across South Asia, with North India, Nepal, and Bhutan Completed; Jury Heads for Final Evaluations

The South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2025 evaluations are progressing rapidly, with the esteemed multinational jury having successfully completed assessments in Sri Lanka, India, and Nepal. The rigorous evaluation process, which commenced in Colombo, has now seen dedicated sessions in Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Kathmandu.

The jury is currently in Paro, Bhutan, meticulously evaluating all Bhutanese nominees. Following this crucial phase, the panel will proceed to Dhaka, Bangladesh, for the next round of assessments. The final evaluation sessions for this year’s awards are scheduled to take place in the Maldives.

SATA maintains its unique position as the only travel award in the region that conducts in-person evaluations across South Asia. This allows nominees in eight cities the invaluable opportunity to directly present their entries to the panel. The jury then diligently assesses and scores each nomination, ensuring that only the finest in South Asian hospitality are recognized. Importantly, there are no charges for participation or the evaluation process.

The highly anticipated 9th edition of the prestigious SATA Gala is set to be held in Sri Lanka in September 2025, where the winners celebrating excellence in the South Asian travel and hospitality industry will be announced.
