To celebrate the upcoming Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, London has launched a very special afternoon tea in their honour. Enjoy delights such as elderflower and lemon cupcakes, blueberry cheesecake hats, chocolate pearl box with Gianduja crowns as well as traditional golden raisin scones with Devonshire clotted cream & homemade strawberry preserve.

Reliving the heady days of the Maharajas and royal rituals, guests can choose from two menus-‘Victorian Splendour’ or ‘Maharaja’s Sojourn’, which pay homage to local traditions. Afternoon tea at Rambagh Palace, Jaipur is held alfresco on the palace lawns at the elegant Verandah Café providing the opulent feel of a British Tea salon

Local Chai

Taj Bengal, Kolkata situated in Alipore at the heart of its cultural heritage is a landmark luxury hotel in downtown Kolkata.  Taj Bengal offers a choice of afternoon tea menus, which are paired with exotic and local teas each tea has a visual and written story to accompany it detailing the ingredients and origins. The ‘Geisha Tea’ reflects the strong Chinese diaspora in Kolkata featuring a mix of ingredients – bamboo shoots, ginger, roses, sesame and berries which have been blended in ancient China.
