Taste of Telangana Festival Kicks Off

Taste of Telangana Festival  from 29th May – 3rd June 2023  a week-long celebration of Telangana Formation Day, at Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel . The festival began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, which was honored by the presence of the Hotel Manager, Ram Shetty, and the talented Home Cook, Kanisetty Sravani. With great reverence, they ignited the ceremonial lamps, marking the beginning of a cultural spectacle that guaranteed to delight all the senses.

The festival inauguration was made even more special with a mesmerizing Bathukamma performance held in the hotel lobby. The vibrant colors, rhythmic dance moves, and melodious tunes created an immersive experience that transported the attendees into the essence of Telangana’s vibrant cultural heritage. Adding to the authenticity, the hotel staff, elegantly dressed in traditional attire, graciously extended a warm and traditional welcome, truly capturing the spirit of the festival.

The ongoing Taste of Telangana festival offers an exceptional culinary experience until June 3rd. Home Cook Kanisetty Sravani has prepared a special menu for lunch and dinner, ensuring delightful twists with each meal. Guests can enjoy a diverse range of authentic Telangana flavors. The first day’s dinner buffet showcased meticulously prepared dishes like Telangana Pachi Pulusu, Palakura Pappu, Golichina Chicken, Royala Curry, Payasam, and Pesara vada. Quench your thirst with Sravani’s special creation, Taaco – a refreshing blend of Ice Apple and Coconut water, leaving everyone longing for more.
