THE LEELA GANDHINAGAR CELEBRATES EARTH DAY

The Leela Gandhinagar, the luxury hospitality destination in the twin city of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, celebrated Earth Day with special activities demonstrating its commitment to the conservation of the environment.

The team and guests at The Leela Gandhinagar planted saplings at the hotel lawns and adjoining areas to mark the occasion. The team launched a dedicated area to cultivate organic vegetables.  The Leela Gandhinagar also organized a special bicycle ride for 5kms for its in-house guests in association with Svitch Bikes, promoting eco-friendly transportation.

Another highlight of the Earth Day celebration was an exclusive zero-waste hi-tea for the hotel’s in-house guests, with a conscious effort to use only 100% recyclable materials.

“The Earth Day is an apt occasion to reflect on our impact on the planet and take steps for minimizing it. It is also a reminder that we all collectively share a responsibility to protect the earth and its resources. At The Leela Gandhinagar, we are committed to conserving the environment and with the cooperation of our guests, we have already launched several initiatives aimed towards environmental conservation and sustainability.,” said Vikas Sood, General Manager, The Leela Gandhinagar.
