Vistara Airlines has elevated its inflight entertainment (IFE) offerings with the inclusion of exciting Formula 1® content and a comprehensive selection from HBO. This milestone makes Vistara the first Indian airline to feature Formula 1 content on its IFE systems across its entire fleet, highlighting its dedication to providing an exceptional onboard experience.

The new Formula 1 content includes engaging documentary series such as “Legends of F1,” which highlights iconic figures in motorsport, and titles like “Vettel: More Than a Champion,” celebrating the passion and values of Formula 1 racing. Additionally, Vistara’s collaboration with HBO® brings over 108 hours of premium content, featuring more than 100 TV shows across various genres. Passengers can now enjoy popular series like “The Last of Us,” “The White Lotus,” “Succession,” “Big Little Lies,” and “Barry,” catering to a wide array of entertainment tastes.

To further enhance the passenger experience, Vistara has introduced immersive 3D anamorphic video, offering a virtual tour of Vistara World, the airline’s advanced IFE seat-back and streaming system accessible on personal devices.

Mr Deepak Rajawat, Chief Commercial Officer of Vistara, commented on the enhanced IFE system: “Being ranked among the world’s top 20 at the World Airline Awards 2023 by Skytrax is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the inflight experience. We take pride in providing exclusive, high-quality entertainment options tailored to diverse customer preferences worldwide. We are confident that our customers will warmly welcome this enhancement as they fly with India’s most loved airline.”

Vistara’s modern fleet features state-of-the-art IFE systems offering nearly 700 hours of engaging content, including up to 800 movies, TV shows, and audio titles. On international flights, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft are equipped with advanced wireless connectivity powered by Panasonic Avionics, allowing seamless internet access for Wi-Fi-enabled devices. Passengers can stay connected at 35,000 feet, accessing emails, information, and social media. Additionally, Vistara has introduced Live TV on select flights, enabling customers to watch sports channels like Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra, as well as prominent news channels including BBC World News, CNN, and CNBC. A unique feature of Vistara’s IFE is the airline’s partnership with Shyft, offering special wellness-focused content across its fleet.
