Dr.Venu V. IAS has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary of Higher Education and Tourism Govt of Kerala. Dr. Venu is an eminent personality in the Tourism sector in India. He has helmed different projects to effectively market Kerala Tourism as a Global Tourism Brand and to improve the quality of the Tourism and Hospitality services in Kerala. Dr. Venu was instrumental to make Kerala God’s own country and he was also a part of the Incredible India Campaign.
Dr.Venu V. an IAS officer of the 1990 batch will assume charge as Secretary Tourism, replacing Ms.Rani George IAS who has been posted as Principal Secretary, Cultural Affairs Department, and the full additional charges of Principal Secretary, Social Justice Department, and Women and Child Development Department, Govt of Kerala.
