Mr. Shiv Bose has been appointed as the new General Manager of Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa. Boasting over two decades of invaluable experience in the hospitality industry, Shiv brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his latest role.
Embarking on his journey in hospitality as a bell desk associate at the renowned JW Marriott Juhu, Mumbai in 2002, Shiv has held various positions within the Marriott family for over a decade. His diverse experiences and learnings have served as the foundation of his illustrious career in hospitality.
Having undertaken multiple General Manager roles in the past, including stints at Le Meridien Nagpur, Courtyard by Marriott Hebbal in Bengaluru, Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort and Spa, and DoubleTree by Hilton Panjim in Goa, Shiv has consistently demonstrated his leadership prowess. In his most recent assignment, his resort earned accolades for its outstanding efforts in promoting diversity and fostering conducive workplace conditions for team members, earning the prestigious Award of Excellence for the APEC region.
In his new capacity, Shiv will oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction and curating memorable experiences for all visitors. His strategic focus includes positioning the resort within the luxury segment and leveraging opportunities within the wedding segment.
